Webex for Mobile - iPhone


The Webex mobile app is optimized for business messaging and calling. Webex keeps professionals fully connected to the workplace with easy access to people and information from their smartphones. This guide will take you through the steps for downloading and signing in to your Webex mobile app on your Android.

To download the Webex app to your iPhone, you must first activate the email address that you want to use with your ProConnect account with Cisco. Ask your site administrator or account manager for your activation link.

Note: You only have to do this the first time you log in to your Webex account. Activation links your email address to your ProConnect account.
  1. 1. To download the Webex Mobile app directly from your iPhone, visit the App Store. Select the Webex for Business app and tap on the Get button.

Once installed on your Android, launch it, and then accept the End User Agreement.

  1. 2. You can also navigate from your desktop’s browser to this web address: and scan the QR code with your mobile phone.

  1. 1. Once you have accepted the Webex User Agreement, the login screen appears.
  2. 2. Enter the email address associated with your ProConnect account

  1. 3. Tap Next. You are redirected to the Consolidated login page. 
  2. 4. Enter your ProConnect User ID and Password. Your User ID is your ten-digit phone number (e.g.

  1. 5. Click Submit.
Note: If you have forgotten your password, contact your company administrator to have it Reset.

Once you are logged in, you can see your Webex Dashboard, where you can create a Space, initiate chats, make phone calls, access your calendar, join meetings, and more.

Some of the main areas of this application:

People and Spaces List

People and Spaces appear on the main screen after login. Tap the Messaging icon at any time to return to this screen. At the top, are your latest active spaces. If you've been added to a new team or space by anyone, you'll see it here too. You will see a bold space name when someone has posted a new message in space.

Navigation Menu

Use the Navigation Menu to switch easily among your message, team, call, and meeting views. Messages appear by default, but your calls, meetings, and search bar are just a click away. 

Profile and Preferences

In the app header, tap your profile to update your picture or name, access your settings and preferences and set your availability.


In the app header, just click the search bar and search through the history of your conversations to find people you're talking to, spaces you're in, calls you’ve made, messages you received, and files you need.

In Webex, make it easier for individuals to identify you by adding an image to your profile. Your profile depicts only your initials within a circle before you upload one.

To upload your picture:

  1. 1. In the app header, tap on your initials.
  2. 2. Tap your initials again.
  3. 3. The Edit Profile screen appears. Either choose to Take a Photo or Choose an Existing Photo. When the window appears, locate and select your picture you would like to use. Once complete, tap Save.

You can change the name of your Webex Profile to show your preferred name.

To update your display name:

  1. 1. In the app header, tap on your profile picture or initials.
  2. 2. Tap on your profile picture. Proceed to select your name. Make your changes. Then, select Done.

Create and post the status you want so that your contacts know what you're up to.

To set a custom status:

  1. 1. In the app header, tap on your profile picture and tap set a status. 
  2. 2. You can select a status from the list or create a new status by typing it into the Type Your New Status text field.
  3. 3. Tap Done when finished. 
Note: You can add up to five status options to the list, so they are quickly available. Each status has a maximum length of 75 characters and can include emojis.
